Sure would have been nice to spend this long holiday weekend installing parts......Jtop arrived today and that was the very last thing I was waiting on to show up.......except of course for the actual vehicle.

My top arrived 2 weeks ago. I just stare at the boxes. It will probably be to cold to install it by the time I get my rig. Hehe....sigh

The dealer texted me today my Bronco was delivered today. Blend date 8/4.

checked with my credit union - from date of approval for loan, rate and approval are only good for 30 days. With my Bronco still sitting in Michigan after being built on 8/8, I'm not going to even apply for my loan until I know it's almost at the dealership

Sitting on 37s, Icon wheels, Icon Stage 3 coilovers, full stereo setup, catch can, Jtop, few other odds and ends......its killing me.

My Everglades just got the “chip hold” today…8/10 blend. The last update was 8/11 as produced, with modules activated and having a tear tag. I wonder what “chip” it could be if I have a tear tag.

Well. It happened. Woke up at 3 am to my infant crying and decided to check the status to find that my Bronco was Built yesterday 9/1. FINALLY!

So sometime between 11pm central yesterday and 3am they decided to update the status. Still no email from Ford though.

Estimated delivery is 9/15-9/21

I have that rack on my Bronco Sport now, and will be swapping it over. I just added it on build and price to see what it would look like with the rack on my build.

I'm a previous 'chip hold' prisoner. My Black Diamond blend date was 1/20/22. I got modules and tear tag. Out of the blue, the entire build week of 1/17 and 1/24 estimated delivery date was pushed back 90 days and we were placed on a chip hold. I didn't actually wait 90 days, but it sure felt like it. I was stranded on ICE/dirt mountain and didn't take delivery until May. Some people from these groups just took delivery within the past few weeks.
I'm not trying to create pessimism and it's quite possible that the chip situation is a much quicker resolution than it was during the first shortage.

Ford chat finally came clean with me today and shared that I am on a chip hold.
It is insulting that they have been feeding us the "in production/produced" BS. Especially when we all know it doesn't take a week yet alone a month to complete a build.

You can change where the clamping mechanism on the basket connect to the basket itself, then just match it up to the gap between the vehicle crossbars. It will be the same for all of the Yakima baskets, but I have the narrowest (Skinny Warrior). The baskets are great for the kiddo’s stroller and folding chairs
