@Bigmoose dumb question but - do these only work when it’s dark out? Just did it and programmed it but they’re not turning on

Good question. Most likely. Just throw a towel over the ambient light sensor on the dash

Nope! I’m not sure what is going wrong. Lights work. Tested on upfitters. Triple checked my Forscan changes… also feels like I skipped a step haha. I have. 2021 non-Sas Base 7MT if that makes any difference. Any insight is much appreciated!

Take a picture of the wiring at the door modules and post it up.

@Bigmoose I pulled the pin but I have a red arrow going to where I had it. Also made a dumbed down diagram of what I did (minus Forscan changes)

So i assume you have a good ground since you wired the “red” connections to an upfitter and it worked. Are you sure you have the pin set properly in the connector for the door module? If the wire is too thick it wont go all the way in. If you look at the connector when it is disconnected you should see your new pin flush with the housing like all the others.

Does anyone know the part number of the Lux mirror with the puddle light built into it?

This was shared with me a few months back on another thread for a LUX model.

Fyi those are not plug and play on the mid package wiring harness. You will need to add wires to the door modules for puddle and side lights.

Waiting for someone to do this, and write it up.

I'd like an idiot-proof walkthrough that gives me the stock look of those turn signal indicators and puddle lights, for my mid package WT.

I got the Oracle puddle lights for thier mirror cover ditch lights and really want to get this figured out. After reading this thread I get the general idea of how to do it but would like an easy way to get this done with detailed step by step instructions.

Probably a dumb question here, but will this approach work at all without Forscan programming? Would the puddle lights go on at all? Or would they stay on while the ignition is on? Etc…. My BD is 3 months old and I’m afraid using Forscan for anything would void the warranty. Thx.
