I can't wait! For those of us that live in SoCal, I am assuming we can Will Call/Pick up in Costa Mesa?
He did mention that local pickup would be available. I am close to puling the trigger on changing my order to a soft top. If I do i would order a top and then drive South from Monterey County to Costa Mesa an pick it up.

I changed my order and I donā€™t regret it but I would like to have both options. The soft top is a little noisy and not kind when the wind blows hard but it is a lot better than the TJ Jeepā€™s I had.

Yeah the soft top on my TJ makes my head hurt when driving on the freeway. So dang loud.

TJ owner here as well. Yeah, you don't want to ride behind an 18-wheeler, it will snap louder than a wet towel in a high school locker room. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Do we know the OEM MOD top weight? Or do you mean this will match the weight of the MIC top?
Correct that it will be similar in weight of the MIC top.

Same price? Modular.

Fair bit cheaper in price I would just get the single piece for the winter.

Today is the big day that we fully reveal the exterior of the tops that we will be offering. Yes we said TOPS, meaning more than one. We will be offering two different styled tops (Both will be slanted). One being modular and the other being a one-piece top. You may be asking, why offer both? We have listened to what you have been asking for and we have came through for the Bronco market as a whole.

Before you start asking ā€œWhy is the modular top less pieces than the factory topā€. The simple answer is that ours will provide a quieter ride, lower chance of leaking, and overall better fit and finish.

Each top will be offered in three levels of finish:
  1. Black UV Textured
  2. White UV Textured
  3. High Build Primer for a body shop to paint match the top

Answers to some of last weeks questions:
  1. Is the rear glass curved?
    1. Yes it is.
  2. Are the side windows glued in?
    1. Yes, they are glued in.
  3. Can the rear window be opened WITHOUT having to open the tailgate?
    1. No, the tailgate will need to be opened.
  4. Will we reuse factory roof rails?
    1. Yes, our tops will have built in mounts to reuse factory or aftermarket roof rails.

We are curious which top you are more interested in? Modular or One-Piece?

Interested in one piece. Hardtop colder months and Softtop for warmer weather. Whatā€™s the cost going to be compared to Fordā€™s top?

IDEA from a 'market participant': I have a 2-Door in FL and would love to have a fiberglass bimini top. I don't need the whole enchilada; but I'd love to buy JUST the one-piece roof section.

That's the perfect setup for the sunshine state. I'd use my MIC when it's cold - but when it's warm just leave the hard-bimini on with no doors. If it rains; I don't care. It will dry.

John from ADV FIBERGLASS -

I think that your company has just created a whole additional market for the Bronco with your one-piece fiberglass hardtop -

those who want a Bronco one-piece hardtop but do not have that option from Ford

those who do not like the looks of the current tops being offered by Ford

those who are only interested in driving the Bronco on the road

those who do not want any of the issues currently being experienced by many Bronco owners with the current tops being offered by Ford (too much noise, poor temperature insulation, leakage, poor fitment, poor finish, etc.)

But in order to develop that market I would strongly suggest the following:

1. Offer the buyer the option of having the top pre-painted with any of the Ford Bronco colors for that particular year

2. Offer the buyer the option of a premium sound deadening headliner

3. Develop a warehouse system throughout the country in order to keep the shipping charge as low as possible

4. Coordinate with Ford the option of having the top drop-shipped to any Ford dealer for install by the dealer with no charge by the dealer for the install

Looking forward to seeing your ADV fiberglass hard top soon. :)
