Adding Advanced 4x4 requires changing the body code (VIN). That may be why the dealer placed a second order. They can't simply add the adv 4x4 option to your original BD, they needed to change to a different model....BD with adv 4x4.
It's possible they didn't know how o change your order, so they just made a new order. The 3 week difference between the 2 orders isn't significant. Your 2nd order have not have been picked due to the additional options that were in limited supply, aka 'constraints'.

Body Codes could be modified especially on the 22MY carryover orders to 23MY. The funny thing is that dealers could not place retail orders until 3/27. So if the dealer placed a new order in December 22 then it was put in as a stock order and as long as they have retail orders it would never get selected. Hopefully they switched that stock order to a retail order when the order banks opened up. Good luck to you.

Tim, the OP said the order was placed in Nov/Dec 2021.
He may still have a good chance of getting his modified BD scheduled for 2023?

I saw it listed in the Lux package also, but I know that some items listed as Mid-Package upgrades were actually standard equipment on the Base. Just didn't want you upgrading and not getting what you wanted.

OK thanks for the heads up. I dug a little deeper and you are correct it seems it only comes with some of the Co-Pilot360 features. I prefer most of these over the ACC so not disappointed to hear that.
