Yeah exactly. But everything else on it is very high quality, and I think an auto body shop can fix the corners.Click this picture so it will zoom. The paint and edges look like hot garbage. No quality control. I'd be pretty pissed.
Agree, the window edges look bad. I meant the overall texture looks good. The texture of the Anderson Top is what a lot of people don't like, but it hasn't been seen in many photos yet.Click this picture so it will zoom. The paint and edges look like hot garbage. They had a black one too, and the texture on the black top is a lot more like rhino truck bed lining than the white top. It's not quite as smooth as MIC, but a lot better than the black one.Agree, the window edges look bad. I meant the overall texture looks good. Interesting. Weird the black hard top texture would be different than the white hard top texture. They had a black one too, and the texture on the black top is a lot more like rhino truck bed lining than the white top. It's not quite as smooth as MIC, but a lot better than the black one.
Its the Ford design top so Quality should be near the sameI think I would wait at least a few months out in the weather before I claim build quality is much better. Especially if they let a janked up paint job out the door......but that's just me.
It’s higher quality for a few reasons. First, the materials are better. The Anderson top is fiber glass whereas the MIC is I believe plastic. The headliner is also a nice quilted leather- like material as opposed to the weird rug pad looking stuff on the MIC. But what I believe really sets the Anderson top apart is that while it uses the factory molds, the rear shell is one single piece fabricated out of fiberglass, while the rear shell on the MIC seems to be at least 4 or 5 pieces bolted together, which leads to many more squeaks and rattles. Its the Ford design top so Quality should be near the same
Maybe a dumb question:Just dropped my Bronco off at Auto Addicts to have it installed, but I installed one of the front pieces to get an idea of how it looks.
There was a quality issue with the white paint around the side rear windows. Apparently this is an issue Anderson is aware of and I’m going to need to take it to an auto body shop to have it corrected, but otherwise it looks great. Quality is so much better than MIC.
This. Paint then install the windows. Painting 101 I would think. Why did they paint it with the windows in? Pretty sure my mod top was done with the windows out.
