Anitimatter Blue AMB vs the color black

My new work truck is AMB and I have installed black toolboxes and a black grill guard... it's definitely dark and without a reference it looks black... put some real black next to it and you can see the differences.

Excuse the non-Bronco- but I thought it might be helpful to contrast the AMB against a true black.

It's the same way with the Granite Crystal Metallic on my Sahara. It seems black most of the time, until you compare it to other parts of the vehicle that really are black (like the hardtop, mirrors, bumpers, door handles). Then it's apparent that the vehicle is actually a very dark gray, not black. I'm sure it'll be the same with the Carb Gray (although from what I've seen, the Carb Gray seems a shade or two lighter than my Granite Crystal).

I’m amped about how great AMB looks next to the dark grey MIC top and flares, as well as black grill, on the Base Bronco.

I would agree. I saw a 2021 Escape at a local Ford dealership. Thought it looked better than straight black but hard to see the blue. A lot of metal flake in the paint. To me, a nicer color than straight black.

That’s exactly how it looked to me, no matter the lighting conditions. Just too dark for me.

Exactly why I'm waiting for the modular top. The bride and I talked for about 15 seconds about body matched top, and very quickly agreed the black top will set off the blue in a good way. Maybe black flares or flare deletes, too, if the oem are too grey.

just saw AMB next to black on a cloudy day on some
ford 4 door sedan - they were both next to an A51 Bronco Sport - I did not even realize one was AMB until i happened to glance at the sticker - so for that reason I have eliminated it from my list - i really wanted to like it but its just lacking personality to my eye- its like blue with an identity crisis
