BliuMak3D Light Pod Brackets- Video
We are stoked to announce this new product!
BluMak3D's Light Pod Brackets mount Rigid’s D-SS Series pods to the Accessory Ready Mounts above the windshield of your 2021 and up Bronco.
As you can see in the video-
2 of the D-SS pods put out more than enough light to eliminate the need for a heavy and expensive full width light bar without compromise. This arrangement is cleaner in appearance, and more aerodynamic than a light bar which significantly cuts down on drag and wind noise.
A critical design point was eliminating distracting light spillage on the hood bulge which reflected back to the driver’s eyes and made night driving worse with bright lights. The final design ensures that the minimal light spillage on the hood is obscured by the hood bulge when viewed from the driver seat.
The result of our efforts is a perfectly tuned non adjustable bracket that blends the bottom of the Rigid LED beams with the top of the Bronco’s OEM high beams to generate a wall of stacked light with the output from the Rigid lights producing the “highest beam”.
Even on their own without the Bronco’s headlights, the D-SS are impressive and offer even more. The "-SS" designation signifies that they are equipped with 3 additional side shooter LEDs on the outside of each pod. The side shooters illuminate an immense area beyond the A pillars that falls into your peripheral vision for a genuinely immersive night driving experience. Side Shooter coverage area is shown in attached photo with yellow lasers.
For a truly OEM fitment, we scanned the Accessory Ready cap and used its shape as the base for our design. The brackets are 3D printed from super durable nylon material in the MJF process that outputs high quality components in very high resolution. The product is engineered tough, looks great and will never rust or corrode.
All of BluMak3D’s R&D and manufacturing takes place right here in San Diego for a 100% Made In USA product.
