Totally black wheels do nothing to enhance a vehicle appearance IMO. No contrasting colors or highlights that disappear and meld with the tires at anything other than close proximity. If you can’t stomach the silver try a different color like the vehicle’s paint or a contrast. You can do much better than black.
Not a fan of the all black. I like the contrast with the silver rings.

I had these on a 2011 White SCREW Raptor. Those lips are machined. But they did look good. Pics of my last 2 Raptors, and my current Bronco.

The Oxford white OBX is beautiful! What color interior did you go with?

i know I’m in the minority, but have an FE (with black rings) and I prefer the silver (or some kind of contrasting color.

like mr. nice said, the all black just blends with the tire leaving you with nondescript black circles at all 4 corners.

& also makes the wheel appear to be smaller to me.
All black is boring.

I agree with this. All black wheels with black tires looks good up close, but to me, from a distance they just look like a black featureless mass
Exactly!

I knew when I ordered my Badlands Sas, that job 1 was going to be powder coating the horrible silver rings.
what I didn’t realize is how it would completely transform the look of my truck!
I couldn’t be happier with the result!

totally agree, plus the silver ring brings out the green in the Cactus Grey. Once I powder coated my rings, it leans more grey.. very happy with it.

You may as well get black lug's and center caps. Then will defiantly won't be able to see any of the wheels. Look's like your trying to hide them. Do you even have a tire and wheel on the back?
To each his own.

I had an anvil Launch Edition TRX. The silver always clashed with the color of the truck. So, I agree with you on this Cactus. I can see how the silver would clash with that color. What you did is very tasteful. I will be keeping the silver on my white OBX, as it enhances the aesthetics of mine without being a distraction.

Is your torx bolts black or silver? Might just be my phone or my eyes but most look like they are silver. I am debating going black rings and silver torx or leaving black torx and paint/powder coating rings carbonized gray. Both are great imo.
I believe they are hardened steel to the anti-strip spec, which gives them a grayish finish. common surface finish on a lot of exterior fasteners. added another picture. sorry about the quality- crappy light conditions
