Anyone have/access to the windshield wiper software update tool?

Ford designed the process to be done in the drive as a wait procedure so hopefully they can do it without an appointment. Thats how the are doing it at the dealership near me.

Thanks, who’s your dealer? I’m also in the Denver metro and mine, Phil Long, is proving challenging to get beyond voicemails with and were effected by the recent dealership software issues. Also, how much to install the tune?

The software issues were to have been resolved 2 weeks ago.

As a cautionary tale maybe dealers should divide their tasks among different unrelated software providers

I am sure there is a limit on pickup and delivery range. Granger would not be expected to pickup and deliver vehicles they sold 5 states away.

Even my selling dealer is 90 miles away, and there are at least 4 closer, although I will be visiting soon for lease end buyout.

All this time I thought we only had intermittent wiper speeds. Lol. Part of the problem may be that there are only 2 constant non adjustable speeds

OP, I’ve had good luck with Castle Rock Ford service department. Not exactly Denver but within reach.

Need to visit Phoenix. My local dealers have called harassing me offering to do it in my parking lot.

I think they are bored. Told them no thanks, don't need my dash tore apart for a non issue.

Takes less than 10 minutes depending on the tech. This one only needed to remove the top steering column shroud, disconnect wire harness to connect flash unit. The reflash took only a few moments, made reconnection and closed it all up. He did let me know I would have to reposition the column back to my liking...
Also had the "seatbelt recall" completed and a software update on the Sport. 2 vehicles completed in less than 45 minutes. Thank you, Pat Milliken Ford.

I have never ever been unable to reach seatbelt to engage the buckle and neither have any front seat passengers. That's a recall I am not prone to having performed.

Of course my rear camera has never failed either

@JohnnyBronco the wiper fix is a must the seatbelt recall is a joke. all it entails is putting a little plastic clip on the front two seatbelts that is more of an annoyance to me that the actual issue which I have never has a problem with.

I'm April 2023 build date, but still absolutely needed this update.

It completely fixed my wipers.
