I’m still looking for the perfect mag safe with charger and short wire for the picatinny rail. It’s like an Easter egg hunt.

I gave up on trusting Apple's MagSafe charger/case to hold my phone securely, but thankfully Quad Lock recently came out with their MAG line of cases and chargers. Their MAG Case has stronger magnets than Apple's case and works great with the standard MagSafe charger. I also purchased their Adhesive Dash/Console Mount paired with their standard Wireless Charging Head. I chose the standard charging head over the MAG Wireless Charging Head due to the extra security of the twist lock.

The Adhesive Dash/Console Mount uses a 22 mm ball, so I will be ditching the adhesive portion and attaching it to one of the many available arms by utilizing the Tackform 20 mm to 22 mm Double Ball.

Until I get all of the parts in, I temporarily have the mount attached to THE D + M.O.S.H. Assembly using this 1/4-20 22mm Ball Adapter.

Hopefully a similar setup will work for your needs, Patrick.
