Went to the Las Vegas Off-Rodeo two weeks ago. Fantastic time, learned a ton. I especially have to call out the instructors - Joe and Matt - they were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and fun to be around. And the Bronco is so capable that it really inspires confidence. Made me seriously reconsider changing my order (2dr OBX, no SAS)...

My wife and I are planning to attend in May, the dealer I am getting my Bronco from offered to pay for the guest. So we jumped on it, looking forward to it and hoping to drive a badlands like my order.
What dealer?

Plenty to do in Austin. 2 popular areas are:
6th street is more of the young crowd.
Rainey Street is a little bit calmer but fun and nicer.
I know 6h street all to well from what I can remember

Also was under the impression the instructors would be doing the high speed driving as well. They didn't.
So, after you got to drive the high speed part, y'all didn't all go park and then your instructor drove one of the Bronco's and took turns taking everyone in your group for a lap on a real high speed run?

No! Does that happen? I’ve seen it in the videos and was hoping for it.

Yes, it did when we were there. Our instructor Cory, (was his name I think) took us all for a spin around a special section after we drove the high speed part....And we used the goat modes too! 🤔🧐🤔🧐

We were able to do this part as well. I think it may depend on who you are with because the instructor has to be certified for that part. Amy is the one who took us.

I did the Austin Off-Roadeo last July, tons of fun.

Does anyone know if they allow you to show up with your own Bronco and go out w/o a guide yet?

ya its called the "fun havers course"
I talked to Off Roadeo after the trip and explained that while I had an amazing time, in some areas my expectations were not met. They sent me 2 t shirts 😂🤷‍♀️

We may do another one too! My only disappointment was there wasn't any kind of BBQ or entertainment at the end (marketing materials suggested there would be). Also was under the impression the instructors would be doing the high speed driving as well. They didn't.
We did the Texas one on March 8th, we had the BBQ dinner but had no entertainment. They said the group wasn’t big enough

My wife and I are going to the Austin offroadeo next Wednesday. Any tips, dosent have to be just bronco stuff, my wife and love food, beer, bourbon and unique sights? We opted to stay at Jester King brewery two nights and the Omni in downtown the other two nights. We have heard there are a bunch of speak easy bars in Austin and we have been researching how to get in to some of them.
"Still Austin" cask strength bourbon is very good. Never been to the distillery, but is on my to-do list. While there is plenty of BBQ in Austin, consider a trip down to Lockhart (Smitty's, Black's & Kreuz ... bring a cooler for leftovers after 3 lunches in one day:), or a trip up to Taylor and Louie Mueller.
