Aux Switches : Lights Auto Off

If you set up interior and exterior lights, supported by the Aux switches.
Anyone know a way to have them turn off automatically, after the car is locked? (with remote)

* For example on a timer, like the factory interior lights. They stay on a little while after you lock the car.

Thanks!

They will go off with the ignition. I suppose if you put a relay and tapped into a light circuit as a trigger it could happen.

I mean :
- Park the car
- Flip ON some lights with the Aux Switches
- Get out of the car
- Lock the car with the key fob
- Walk away
- **Witness the lights go off as you get into the house / tent / whatever

Now : The car is locked, the lights are off, you are inside.

For : Lighting the ground around the car, the back for when its dark and you need to get stuff out of the back, etc. etc

Not exactly what you are looking for but I used the aux wire to connect a switch in the back straight to the battery. That way I can turn on the rear lights whenever.

Next I am going to mount a light on the bulge on the rear tailgate facing downward. So it will illuminate the ground with the tailgate open.

I understood. That’s why I said you could put a relay in to power what you want. Tap into the interior light circuit or headlight is you have them set for delay as a trigger wire. Then it would act as you describe. I know on the superduty there was a way to make two Aux switches hot all times. Not sure if the bronco has this capability. But if it did then You put the relay and trigger it with whatever circuit times out or is shut off with the door lock that you wish.
