Yep. Best time of the year weather wise. No rain, but I did get it washed. Touch free.Horrible news. Weather has been great here in Phoenix so this is definitely not a climate issue but an example of bad engineering.
And…. It’s already been moved. As soon as this drops off the “most viewed” list no one will find it again. Another one bites the dust…I've shared my part. If the community wants to ignore it to keep it moving, so be it. That's a tough choice I don't want to make.. but I don't think these are isolated. I think the rear section is MIC 1.0. SAME issues while the panels seem newer.
That's what mine started off as. It's pulled apart in the few days I've had it. Wonder if it's related to the touch free car wash..
I'll give you my address.Page 2 and nobody has asked if you waxed the top?!??
Also, my Bronco is in the train right now. If it doesn't get off, so help me God, I will find you.
I'm going to mix up so epoxy with gray dye and rub it in the edge. Plenty of time to clean it off the visible part of the top and it'll work like a charm. I likely would not swap tops for this if given the chance, to be honest.Until Ford comments, would using a finger nail top coat help seal the edges?
Make sure your dealer gets you a new top ordered at leastI'm going to mix up so epoxy with gray dye and rub it in the edge. Plenty of time to clean it off the visible part of the top and it'll work like a charm. I likely would not swap tops for this if given the chance, to be honest.
