BD with Base headlights and LED taillights?!

I spotted this on autotrader, Bd with the base headlights and the signature LED taillights, which isn't an option on BD, and I have never seen one without the other.

Doesn't say anything about it on the window sticker. That's pretty odd. So when you get the Mid package with blind spot monitoring it doesn't come with the LED tails?

That was the thought a long time ago, and thought it was figured out to not be the case, but this makes it seem likely.

Yeah I had the same train of thought that the blind spot monitoring would give you LED tails like most other Ford models. Guess we will wait for some BD owners to chime in. If it is the case that they do, well win win. My BD just got a little better.

I can confirm that there is no LED taillights with the mid package on the BD. Mine has bulbs. Only the headlights are LED.

Glad to hear they're bulbs. LED replacements are expensive as ish.

Once the bulbs go out I might give some LED bulb replacements a try. I did that in my 06 Mustang and it worked out great. But, that was an 06 model car. Not sure if its viable in 2021?

Probably need to be CANBUS compatible. Which most modern LED bulbs are.

Maybe the pics are not BD but Outer Banks or Bad Lands because the detail info says 2.3L 4 cyl.
The interior doesn't look like black vinyl either in the pics which is standard in the BD.

All Broncos have LED headlights. You get LED taillights with the Signature Lighting option (at least that's how it's supposed to work).
