If anyone else has had an issue with their trektop making a loud flag flapping sound especially in high winds, I found a solution on mine. The bows need to be thicker, I used some weather strip on mine. I had contacted @Bestop_Team about this and their solution was to send a new fabric, which did not fix the problem. They didn't seem to interested in it when I replied to them that I had found my own solution. It may just be mine with bad hardware I don't know, cause they kept telling me my hardware was not a problem. Hopefully this will help anyone who has had this issue.

You can get the Velcro much tighter with just that little bit of weather strip.

This is on my "to do" list for my Sunrider as well. I have a roll of 1/8 x 1" strip that I used for the header seal that I plan to wrap around the cross-brace like you did. It flaps and makes a weird snapping/popping noise if it's closed with the windows open, and I'm glad this worked for you.

I've had to do so many adjustments and mods to mine to make it work - kind of fun, but also very frustrating that Bestop didn't figure all this out.

I definitely notice it at higher speeds when passing semis. Also in high wind areas like mentioned. Gonna give that a try plus use some pipe insulation in other areas.

After I did this it's almost as good as my hard top.

I'm sorry I went through an extra top fabric trying to fix this issue. I have still had an issue withe the tightness in the line if I use the pre drilled holes on the window channels on the back. I originally was instructed to drill extra holes in them to stop water intrusion.

@SpringTXOR I'm just glad to hear you fixed it! I've not heard of drilling extra holes so I've already sent an email to QA asking about that. You're welcome to email me if there is anything else I can do to help, [email protected]

Any tips how to reduce the feeling of an open window?
I have this from my back right window, as if it’s not sealed.
everything is aligned and installed perfectly
