I’ve had a few barley pops and realized the Black Diamond with 2.7L, AT, and Mid package, fits my current needs and the next 5 year use much better than the Badlands. Yeah the Badlands additional off-road options would be great, but I’d never use them where I live currently and for the next 15-20 years.

I can’t wait for these to roll out! Have a good weekend everyone.
Barley pops ??? absolutely my new name for beer!!

Funny though I go the other way when I have a few and decide I need a Badlands, with Sasquatch and lux then wake up the next day back to the BD with mid.....

I’ve been staying up late contemplating which I want more if I can’t afford both...
The heated seats from the mid package or the awesomeness that is the Sasquatch package. I don’t even live where is snows, but damn if I don’t love a warm ass on a cold winter morning.

add hardtop and 33’s, and would be a perfect build

I’m getting 2D Bronco, so I’ll get the hardtop standard, but yes...I’d like to have the 33’s. You’re right about that.

Looking at the features and options list for the black diamond today it looks like they moved the 8" display and possibly navigation to an optional feature now.

Also it looks like they are putting in the manual for 4-door as standard now?

I’m still seeing the 8 in display as standard equipment, which I thought Ford said all bronco trims would have as standard, maybe they are referring to the navigation part is optional?

I have a 2-door Black Diamond reservation. Thinking Cyber Orange, Mid package, 2.7 AT. Don't think I'll do Sasquatch based on needs, but idk. The pricing needs to come out!

Thanks!
The BD has slightly smaller dia tires at 31.4" compared to BB (32.1") and OB (32.1"), yet has steeper 4.46:1 gearing. Likely better for off-road vs on-road use.
Wonder why the BB and OB show 2 different avail ratios. Will have to wait until the more detailed order forms come out.
The Black Diamond in stock has 265/70R17 General Grabber A/Tx tires. The spec diameter on those is 31.6 inches. It would be very easy to move up to at least the 275/70R17 tires that have the same rim measurements, and those are 32.2 inches.

Ok I'll play:
4 door Black Diamond - Cyber Orange
2.7/Auto <-- Wife doesn't want to learn a manual, So as a compromise I get the bigger engine!
Sasquatch Package
Mid Package
Tow Package
Hard Top with Sound Deadening

and I'm guessing damn near $50k....

Living in CO I need the hard top for the winters here. The type of wheeling I've grown up doing in here I'll need those 35's and lockers and sliders. I have a wife, 4 kids and 2 pitbulls. So as much interior room as possible is necessary. And lastly were looking at a boat so I need to be able to tow that...

If this is 50k, I'm gonna be one happy man.
Fingers crossed man

What is there in the Mid Package that makes you want it enough to pay for the whole thing? I'm debating whether to even get it. I have a feeling that the dealers will order most of the vehicles with this for their stock anyway.

I think there are 3 versions of the touchscreen in the middle of the dash:

SYNC® 4 - 8" LCD Capacitive Touchscreen = base package

SYNC® 4 - 8" LCD Capacitive Touchscreen
Swipe Capability and Enhanced Voice Recognition = mid package

For me, it’s really just the heated seats. The lane keep and other driver nanny’s I could do without. The remote start is a nice to have, as is the ambient lighting and dimming mirrors and stuff. But really, if I could option heated seats for a few hundred dollars as a stand-alone option I’d do that and skip the mid package and roll that saved money into 33” A/Ts.
