Break-in oil change 2.7

............ Break in oil change is definitely needed in my opinion after seeing the amount of metal flakes in the filter...........
I stuck with motor craft this time because I figured they designed the engine and know what it needs but curious what others think.

What is that recommended break in oil change mileage, coming from the people that designed the engine?

I do not believe there is a set recommendation from Ford but pretty sure you do not want the amount of metal I had in my filter in your engine.

Had the dealer change it at 800 mile. Changed it myself at 5K with Pennzoil ultra Platinum. Check the filter at the 5K change and everything looked good.

What is that recommended break in oil change mileage, coming from the people that designed the engine?

Not sure, but 500 Miles and then again around 2,000 miles. I did notice small slivers of metal in filter on last change.
