One of the many things they aren't addressing is the wider axles on the BR, the wider axle makes a HUGE difference for drivability and stability..... 40 mph cross wind on the freeway, don't even notice it....
The BRaptor is a lot more than an engine tune and a set of 37's. It would be child's play to make my 2 door OBX (4416#) faster than the BRaptor, but it still wouldn't be nearly as capable off-road. All the suspension upgrades, extra bracing, heavy duty steering rack and tie rods make a huge difference in overall capability. Hennessey is high on crack if they think that they are building something better than the BRaptor.
This wasn't a surprise to be honest. I knew they'd be close. The Hennessey Bronco launched way harder and on the roll, the Raptor seemed to short shift (you can hear it). Gives me more ideas for mine
