Good afternoon folks,

My apartment building in Downtown Dallas left our security gate up over a weekend while I was out of town and 10+ cars were broken into by real pros. No damage to the Bronco at all somehow. Cleaned me out..

I'm here asking for help finding a one stop shop to replace my Bronco toolkit.

I'm trying to take the doors and roof off for a road trip next week.

Not trying to piece it together.. Any suggestions ???

Be kind 😣

If you're not hung up on them saying Bronco, I'd just piece it together with Harbor Freight. Might be less likely to be stolen and they'll hold up well enough for the occasional top and door removal.

I just found out someone was in mine around the time I was typing that. Nothing taken but there's a fresh footprint on the seat. A lot of dirt bags out there.

Screw ebay, that's robbery.
He's already been robbed.

He didn't want mismatched parts, $140 for the factory kit to keep his Bronco original didn't seem bad to me. YMMV, but yes, probably cheaper to buy better quality tools and be done with it.

Yeah I get it. I just hate people fleecing people. I'll spend thousands on dumber shit, but I won't spend that kind of money on a cheap ass ford bronco branded tool kit. Now if it's snap-on or matco branded like that, then....well... I just might.

Anyway - OP I hope you get what you're looking for. I'd have your Apartment complex morons that left the gate up pay for your 140 replacement kit. Seems fair to me. Or throw a brick through the office window. Wait don't do that.

I lost about $6k of my stuff. They refuse to take responsibility. Luckily I'm a law student in my final year and work in insurance litigation. They now have a bigger problem on their hands.

Oh snap! They are screwed!! YES I love it! Sorry you lost that much. What did you have in the Bronco worth 6k? None of my business, just curious. I'd be curious to find out if you get justice. They are clearly at fault.

Terrible timing. I just picked up a bunch of equipment from a friend and recently took a trip so bags were still there. I was tired from the trip so I planned on emptying the truck in the AM.

The management company's director Of insurance called and said that them being a cause of the theft was a stretch. 😳😂.

Brookfield properties will do what they can not to pay.

Understand you're trying to get a OEM replacement - but, hear me out... you should be able to source the necessary tools from your local hardware store (or amazon) for like $30 to get you through your trip. Off the top of my head, its a socket wrench, a 10mm and 13mm sockets, and a T50 socket. Once these parts become more common (i.e. via parts department), you can replace the whole kit.
