If you’re going to end up with a Wagoneer, you never wanted what a Bronco gives you in the first place. If I were going in that direction, it’d be a Land Cruiser over the Wagoneer all day.
Nope, I never said wanted a jeep or Wagoneer all I’m saying is the basics need to be better in the bronco especially at a $68,000 price tag.

I do prefer the interior quality of my past Rubicon over my Bronco.
That being said, I am much happier with the way that the Bronco drives, and the seats are much more comfortable.

For a commuter, I will take the Bronco hands down over a JL.
I do agree that the interior needs work and hope that Ford focuses on that on the next generation/revision.

For the price point super happy with my Heritage at 54k.
If I were going more luxury would opt for a Defender and if money is no object than a G Wagon. But both of those would be more than I would want to spend.
I agree 100% with this the bronco is a better driving vehicle, but the basics be stepped up

Click the link again and scroll down, all Jeep models are on there.

Dude was saying how great Jeeps were so I made a joke.

Agree. I'm not going to complain too much about the electronics. Though mine has some sort of electric gremlin living in it.

The cheaper plastic is the main thing I notice. I have a 392 and a Bronco FE. While the bronco interior seems 'cheaper', I like the ride and the interior space better. I don't drive the 392 much, but recently when I did, it felt a bit 'claustrophobic'.

Honestly, then I got the Bronco, I was hoping for something different with the interior. When I got it, I thought to myself. "Yep, Ford-ish". The material, design, shapes...it all just seems typical Ford. Not a huge deal. I'm ok with it.

yep, the top dash piece looks like it was printed on a 3d printer or found in a happy meal box.

Still love the vehicle even with the jenky dash.

Ford went super cheap on the interior plain and simple, try to fanboy justify it all you want but there’s no excuse for the crap Ford used. I love my Bronco, like be the way it looks, love the way it drives and I’d buy another in an heartbeat. I knew all about the interior when I bought my first one, i just look past the cheap plastic. I wanted a vehicle with a removable top And I fit better than in a JL so I’m not losing sleep over the interior, it’s what you get, just don’t make excuses for it. I have no hate for Jeeps, I owned one and loved it too and they absolutely use higher quality interior materials. I don’t want a Lexus interior, just a little padding would be nice.

If you go into buying a Bronco knowing it’s a $50k+ vehicle with a yugo interior, then you won’t be disappointed.

Ford is not know for quality. That said the build in my '21 is ok, the materials used are cheap.

I went and looked at the Jeeps in your post. Wow! $4500 for an automatic transmission, and I didn't even see where you could add on rear-lockers anymore (used to be about 500-700) without going up a model.

I've had 2 2-door jeeps, and now the 2-door Bronco. Each had their good points, although the Bronco has scads more power, and the 10-speed tranny is way better for less than the Jeep.

I did like the build quality of the Jeep top over the Bronco's though. That's about it.

And I'd have to concur with what somebody else said... did you go and sit in a Bronco before you bought your Bronco? Seems like you ordered it over the Internet without sitting in one.

I don't know anyone who would dare to call a Jeep a quality vehicle. It makes virtually every "This thing is junk don't buy one list". Had three and all three were crap. I am quite happy with my Bronco plastic panels and all.

I do love the way my Bronco looks, but I just his 10k miles on Saturday and already concerned with the jugging as it changes gears and LED screen choosing when and how it wants to work. I feel like it could die at any time. I’ve had Mazdas for 40 years - kept all with 200k+ miles - and never worried about them leaving me stranded.
Sounds like your bronco is still under warranty. It might be a good idea to have the dealer check those concerns and get them addressed especially if they create in your mind the possibility that the bronco is going to die any time.

I had a '18 F150 Raptor and the build quality wasn't bad. I anticipated the Bronco would be similar, but was wrong. All my other cars are German made and I did not expect the quality to on par with European cars, but the Bronco is pretty bad - leather looks/feels like vinyl, the interior plastic is horrendous (scratches at the lightest touch), surface rust on bolts/frame/etc., ventilation management is whacky, and Ford service is the worst I've ever experienced (your experience may vary).

I have the Bronco as a daily beater and beach vehicle. It drives nice, engine is good, tech is also not bad. I can look past the cheap interior leather and plastic, but the service is what ticks me off. Maybe it's a NJ dealership thing. I get the impression Ford takes its customers for granted - similar to pre-AT&T breakup (1982) ... "Shut up, you're lucky you have dial tone."
