Saw the title of the thread and got excited thinking pastries were involved. Now I know I need help.

They probably contributed to occupant injury. Like the glass insert cut the dummy in half or something along those lines.
There is no glass. Windows go down into the door. That door is hollow, and has no where for a window to go, therefore it has no window, otherwise it would always be up.

IIRC the donuts are out -- you'll have to wait for aftermarket.

The Bronco in that picture is the same as Doug's video -- no real powertrain, interior is a plastic mockup.
There was a picture on the A D D website that showed a version of them. I wonder if that means they plan on offering them?

Is the donut holes in the door completely open? I assumed there was a piece of glass/plexiglass in the hole like in the McLaren Senna.

Yes. There aren't any seals or openings where you would see the glass sit into

Doors on = road legal, must meet standards.
Doors off = off road. No side impact standard to meet.
What do you mean “doors off = off road”? It’s not illegal to drive on the highway with no doors. At least not in my state.

This is the way the auto industry works today...its the same w/the beadlocks. Its is not UNLAWFUL for you to operate your vehicle on public roads w/no doors, but if Ford were to sell you a vehicle w/no doors and you got hurt in an accident they would face liability. When you remove your doors voluntarily you have accepted the increase in risk...even if it is very small. Sometime in 1993 iirc NHTSA required a door bar be added to the center of all doors. The tube doors could still meet this requirement easily...donut doors? I don't see how.

LOL. So, just like Jeep, Ford can’t figure out how to make a door with a hole in it. Government regulations?
I had to put doors on on my JKU for MA state inspection because they have to check if windows actually close...

Maybe aftermarket will provide something but you’ll still need the factory doors for inspection
