I want to like it but I'm a form follows function guy and I don't see the benefit of removing two doors when all else is the same.

Every 2 door SUV (when a 4-door was also available has failed (sales-wise).I just don't get the appeal of a larger 2 door SUV
The worst thing about the 4-door is the girly look. Maintaining the 2-door look while sacrificing a little breakover angle for additional storage and fuel capacity, as well as more high-speed stability, is a tradeoff worth consideration. Particularly for those who are more interested in desert running. IMO this concept would be the ideal configuration for the Warthog. So the worst thing about the 4 door is the long wheelbase and resulting breakover angle...not a dealbreaker, but a limitation...and you want to take on that disadvantage...AND give up the advantages of 2 more doors. The worst possible configuration....awful.

Nice work! I have been thinking about (Hoping for...) a 3 row, 4 door Bronco. The Defender 4 door 110 has a 3rd row option now, and there will be soon an extended body version: Same 110 wheelbase, longer rear overhang. A 3 row Bronco would probably need a/c vents back there...Been meaning to post this one for a long time. Here is my mock up of the fabled 2DR LWB Bronco.
Specs:
- Uses 4DR wheelbase
- Uses 2DR doors
- Uses rear seats from the 4DR
- Has variation of rear cupholders from the 2DR
- Standard slide-out cargo tailgate for level loading
