Dealer emailed me the order confirmation, but it has code 99.

I also have not received an order confirmation email from Ford.

It's been a week.

It's my dealer doing something shady?

Converted my reservation to an order on Jan 28th. Priority Code is a 10! I'm so excited.

I don’t think these codes mean as much. I got a 10 and my reservation was in early October. I assume mine will be a 22.

Priority code 99 is the only one that really means anything right now which is DO NOT PROCESS / HOLD. its been documented by Ford. regular range from 10-19 will just get re decked by Ford after March 19th.

I dont know how much weight I would put in the code. Ford is going to adjust based on parts avail. and reservation time stamp...along with dealer allotment. The 30% is the starting point for now and will move to a 50% plus reservation to sales order and market area for the other 50%.

The final number Ford comes up with in late April or mid May will be more realistic and drive things. Way to much volatility to worry about a priority number thus early.
Exactly. My dealer put all orders at 19 unless the customer was definitely going to wait for a 22.

I just spoke to a "Bronco Specialist" at Ford. I was concerned as my priority code from my dealer order sheet shows "99". She told me "they" do not see or discuss order codes. She can see by my order number that the order was placed and I have a very early reservation # -I reserved on 7/14/2020. She also said they are still on target to begin deliveries this summer.

Talk to your dealer.

I imagine corporate's policy is not to discuss priority codes because those codes are how the dealer prioritizes their internal sales... and there could easily be some local politics involved in those decisions.

Worked at Ford and acrually developed training in my region on prioritizing orders. Its complicated but Ill try to explain:

The lowest priority a dealer can apply to a vehicle is 10. There is an algorithm (math equation that assigns a number the dealer does not see based upon allocations, commodities, vehicles built this period, etc.). All that matters is what number is lowest, one dealer uses 10 another uses 40, its still that dealers lowest priority it gets looked at and assigned a number first.

If a dealer has multiple vehicles at the same priority they basically let the computer decide.

A “99” means hold, do not schedule.

The regional office can use “00”, “01”, and “02” forcing those orders in line ahead of the dealers.

Once every dealer has assigned numbers to their priorities those numbers are aligned with every dealer. Questions are answered, does the region have allocation, does the dealer have allocation, are there commodities available? If yes, it gets sent to production.

Think of it like this, if a dealer has allocations of 10 F-Series for this month and the commodities say 60% auto and 40% manual, then he/she has to get four of the 10 allocations as manual or they will not get 10 vehicles built.

So if the dealer has 50 orders at a 10 priority and all are automatics, by the time the computer selection gets to their manuals they may have already been taken by other dealers who had higher priorities.

But 10 does not mean the same thing in context across multiple dealers. You could have a 98 priority (lowest and only one 98 at that dealer)and get your vehicle scheduled before someone who has a 10 along with 25 people at the same dealer.

This is not in play with Bronco’s. Your order date and commodity availability will drive the scheduling.

If it hasn't already been said.. 99 is hold. So unless you told your dealer you wanted to wait for a 2022, you don't want a 99. Any others number won't really matter in the case of the Bronco because they are going to ignore those and use the reservation time stamp.

I asked my dealer for my build sheet.
My priority code is 10, which probably means I will receive my Badlands 7/16 reservation sometime in 2022, LOL.

How do you know your priority code?
Its listed on the Order Summary preview page the dealership provides you. In addition to the priority code, it will also include Order Code and Price Level.

Hi everyone. Lot's of great information here! Very appreciative of this forum. What would the reason be for a dealer to want to set a priority code to 99 versus other codes? What's the logic behind taking a customers deposit for an order, stating to the customer that they have placed the order yet setting it to a code that means "hold the order". It just seems shady! What options do we have if your dealer refuses to change it?
