Although my google-fu resulted in nothing, it appears the Braptor has the same transmission and axle venting that the Everglades has to fortify/enable a good water fording spec. Evidence (at least explicitly for the rear axle is at the 6 minute mark in this video here ). I assume the other axle and trans follow suit.
The Everglades is speced to ford up to 36.4" whereas the Raptor is 37". I would have expected a larger difference, based on both tire size and body height. Maybe the breathers mount slightly differently.
Regardless, glad the Braptor didn't get cheaped out here.
As to one-upmanship by Jeep the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 20th Anniversary Level II by AEV (mouthful... and the only "factory" way to get 37s) provides a whopping 37.1" of water fording capability .
Despite all of the numbers, specing fractions of an inch for water fording is a bit silly/meaningless, by Ford and Jeep.
