I think a non-XR 392 is around 5100 lbs, isn't the BR about 5700 lbs? I agree though the BR, even being so much heavier, will probably be a better high speed machine.

382 XR is likely 5200+
then if you want 37s (2” lift) and dana 50 in the rear it will likely be 5500+
And im willing to bet the BR will have a better weight split.

Yep. Getting 10-12 with the 35s. Probably 9-11 when the 37s go on. And it’s 100% worth it. I’ve got a Ram TRX on order too. Long live the V8!

But like I said, I am definitely eyeing a 23’ or 24’ Bronco Raptor. I think a color matched hard top/fenders would look awesome. Throw true 37s on it and call it good. BFG 37s aren’t true 37s…more like 35.5-36s. They run small. Clever marketing by Ford though!
My TRX averaged 9.8. Not hard to get it into the 7's either.

What the Bronco Raptor has thats better than the Wrangler 392 Recon
$70,000 vs $82,000
Turbos vs N/A
Rear dana 50 with 4.70 vs Dana 44 with 4.56
Active fox shocks vs standard fox shocks
73” track width vs 64”
37” tires vs 34.4”

what the wrangler has better
~10% more stock LBFT. (Est)
lower low range gearing
3.06 vs 4.00

What would you rather have?

Official tire size
36.5” diameter
12.5” width
10.1” tread width.

vs 392 recon or bronco Sasquatch “35”
34.4” diameter
9.5” width
8” tread width

thats still
2.2” taller and 2” wider

I know for sure that I can get a 392 Recon OTD for $77,000. Thats tax title and tags. One will be hard pressed to find a Braptor for under $90K, no matter what MSRP is.

On paper. They are the smallest 37” tires on the market real world. They routinely measure 35.5-36 tops under vehicles. Most other 37s run 36-36.5” under vehicles. They aren’t true size 37s. Sorry to burst anyone’s bubble.

I have a dealer selling that exact 392 for $7,000 under MSRP.
And someone earlier today has already been contacted by there dealer about converting their reservation to the Braptor. They were told to expect a $60K ADM.

Go to the Ram TRX forum, there is a link there to Koon's in Va. You contact them through that link, and they will order your 392 for $7,000 of MSRP. You cannot direct call the dealership. It has to go through that link. They have their emails posted. They are a Power Broker and have great deals on all hellcat, TRX and 392's. I contacted them, submitted my build, they sent me the paperwork to sign, and all that was left was to put down the deposit.
