You drive a KIA, anything outside of that is unsatisfactory. It's on off road vehicle not designed for fuel efficiency. If you want fuel efficiency, get a car designed for that. This isn't it homie.

A Bronco specialist did an AMA on reddit. I asked him about mpg. Nothing official released yet, but he heard that it's comparable to an Expedition.

That, to me, is satisfactory considering the size
He didn't distinguish between sas vs. Non sas. I'm going to assume this is for the non sas.

Would have thought the EcoBoost was better, but I guess they have some work to do to get to best in class fuel mileage:

Get the 2.3 manual and I bet you can get more on the highway non sas

My guess, the auto will deliver better mileage than manual, city and HWY. Particularly with the turbo motors, the auto can keep the engine in very narrow sweet spot economy wise. The 3 OD gears and "full lock-up" the auto should all bode well for the AT as well. It will be interesting to see what comes in "real world" use. EPA cycle is engineered into the software, so real world can vary quite a bit.

Specific to the Sasquatch - After all the snippets we've pieced together, Ive been estimating maybe 15 city / 18 (maybe 19) highway (real world) for the sasquatch. I think Ford will do everything to have advertised highway MPG with a 2 in front of it for the sasquatch. Such as 20 or 21 mpg highway. Although, i think it may be a tricky to get real world given aerodynamics and 35s (like a specific bandwidth of MPH on the highway from 60-65 mph for example), which is why I am knocking that down to 18/19 real world. So something to the effect of 16 city / 20 or 21 highway (advertised)....15 city / 18-19 highway (real world). I think the Ford rep in the other thread said 16-17 mixed with highway driving, so that feels right. And for non sasquatch maybe add 2 to both. Which again is consistent with what we’ve seen at 18-19 mixed on non sas.

Collectively the non-sas and sas fall within that expedition range.

Helps that the 10th gear is a little taller than 6th in the MT.

I went to a lot of rodeos as a kid, I think this makes me a 'Bronco Specialist'. I also don't wear skinny jeans and puffy vests.
