I'm just giving other Broncos a quick nostril flare, and then driving off.

Exactly. What happens if the only "mod" is a Ford Performance Ecoboost Calibration Kit? That means the Bronco owner is not an enthusiast?I've seen this statement on several different vehicle forums over the years and I always shake my head. Just because someone drives a stock car doesn't mean they're not an enthusiast.
Yup, the potential head nod. No wave here. Unless y'all live or are driving the gravel roads to my folks ranch. Everyone gets a nod or the two finger lift off steering wheel no matter what you are driving.I voted no because when I see jeep people do it I cringe.
Maybe a head nod, but not a wave lol
I have to say, your posts at least make me laugh when I read them.I'll wave a modified Broncos because they will be driven by Bronco enthusiasts...but maybe not at OBX street queens and similar, as those drivers would have no idea what I am doing. That's what I did with the FJ, as it was easy to spot modded ones (driven by enthusiasts), and they would wave at me...but the person who just bought it and drove it on the street with no mods, had no interest in other ones.
I usually wave at someone who picked the exact same vehicle as me (model, trim, color). Sort of a "great minds think alike" acknowledgement. But they don't usually understand why some rando is waving at them.I'll likely be waving at folks in Broncos and curious if others will too.
That is the most underrated driving acknowledgment ever( and what I use)... the two finger lift off steering wheel...
