Okay so it isn't just me then. The service guys said it was operating normally and I said it still sucks... They're like yeah they tend to do that...

It's funny because the car itself is great and a good value, but the media / tech screen is awful.

100% agree I wish that would be one thing that they would improve/invest more time on

Rain is on left side of display/animation
Snow is on right side of display/animation

It’s slippery....but on the display you can see the snow cover and snow fall on the right side

The animation looks nice but the lag has to be fixed. It reminds me of my old iPod when slightly rotating it at all caused it to transition to a laggy carousel view that the hardware couldn't handle and you couldn't disable.

Is it worth saving half a center per unit when the competition has a buttery-smooth animation because they gave it enough processing power? It's like how game devs had to make so many compromises because the original PlayStation only had 2MB of memory. If they'd just spent the extra 50¢ on more memory, the games would've been that much better.

The screen in the new Explorer is just as laggy so don’t bet on Ford fixing this.

If this is the “high level instrument cluster” listed as a standard feature in OBX and above I’d prefer some basic 1990s-level dash assuming it’s not laggy like this. Animations like this will get old after the first week of ownership.

I wonder if future MY(s) will include a Grandpa Mode. Even though I"m not a grandpa, I've been criticized in the past for driving too slow. I'm not a big speed freak. Just care about getting from point A to point B.

Yeah. I think you folks are more in tune to video quality than I. Performance seems ok to me.

Isn't that the "High level display" from the Badlands trim though ? I was thinking the lower trims won't have that same type gauge display .
