It seems (so far anyway) that you have to get at least the Outer Banks trim to get the modular hardtop.

Any word if Ford will sell the Modular Hardtop as an accessory? Like Jeep / Mopar will.

I don't know why they wouldn't.

"Hi Ford dealer parts department, Id like to order an Oxford White Modular top, please."

Right? I mean, why wouldn't they?

I would think you can buy any parts. They need to be available for insurance claims and damages. The question becomes, if your Bronco came with a soft or mic top what modifying do you need to do to mount it

Ford: "Sure, order placed. Expect a confirmed shipment date by Spring 2022".

Something that will probably be answered in the next 27 days with B&P.

Modifying? I would assume NONE. Why would anything needed to be modified besides removing the other roof/top?

The 3 different types may all have different mounts to the carriage. We don't know yet.
Would be awesome if they were interchangeable, but probably not.
You might need to buy the carriage mounts for your new /different top

This is something I keep on bringing up: Just because your Black Diamond doesn't qualify for the 12" screen doesn't mean you can't buy it separately afterwards, without the need of upgrading your trim level.

I hope none...but you can't just slap a hard top on a soft top Wrangler....

Is the wiring already in place for the back glass defroster and you just pull it out from some trim piece and plug it in? Is there a motor installed for the rear wiper and you just obtain and install the wiper arm assembly? I honestly don't know, so I'm asking. Otherwise, yeah, I think something might need to be modified if you want the full function of a factory hardtop for a vehicle that was purchased as a soft top only.

Maybe! You see some broncos coming with dual tops which would imply they are interchangeable, but I think that is the mod and soft top. You're the one that has seen it up close! You tell us!

Wow, this place is bizarre, nothing like the Land Cruiser forums. I’d swear some of the people in here wouldn't know the difference between a socket and a ratchet.
