I'm not in the loop for any other vehicle.

If CG [or FJG] is on other vehicles does that mean we might be able to see a colour sample at the dealer?

I was thinking I’d have to have the white top. But now I’m really leaning towards the body colored top for my 2 door badlands.

Planning to do a retro white stripe on it for a bit of personality.

I love the idea of Cactus Grey Body, White Top, and a White Grill. I think it looks sharp. Then again, my wife picks out my clothes... LOL :p

Seafoam Green looks nothing like Cactus Gray or Area 51. It’s closer to the old Forest Service trucks. Here’s a Fender Guitar in Seafoam Green:

My question is how much blue (if any) is in Cactus Gray? In the intro videos it very much has a Sonic Blue look to it:

I tend to think of '60s colors in terms of Fenders too lol. I'd love a Surf Green or Daphne Blue Bronco. But Sonic Blue definitely works for me if that's what Cactus Gray looks like.

I have worked at a the same ford dealership for 27 years. Started when I was 18. Worked at the detail shop subcontracted by them from 13 years old to 18 years old. If I call my body shop to have paint mixed up they ask for the 2 digit code. Period. If I go to my parts department and order brush touch paint they ask for the 2 digit code. Period. Yes there are MXXXX numbers also but primarily everyone at a ford dealership uses the 2 digit paint code. If your a customer, and want touchup paint from a ford parts counter, your only getting it if you bring your vin number in or withn the paint code found in the vehicles driver's front door jam. Period! I've even had them mix Area 51 from the paint code. Below is Twister orange (CA), Stealth grey (B9) and Magnetic (J7)

That works at dealerships, and with fairly new cars, especially those which won't have 5+ years of sun damage. Doesn't work across the entire auto industry.

Awesome that you whipped up some touch-ups! Now lay some "NE" down from a touch-up pen and post it in a variety of light!

always loved seafoam. On Fender guitars, on cups, anything. Cactus Gray is very close

For all the guitar heads out there not going for the sparklecaster, here's the standard Seafoam vs. Surf Green comparison which is handy.

This is one of my favorite colors and I believe Cactus Gray to be a modern equivalent to the bygone days of interesting car colors, i'm very excited to see the Bronco in person or at least some paint chips before ordering!

That six slot grill in white/lt gray is an iconic look. Way better than a solid black or dark grey grill IMHO
