I bought the dual catch cans and mounted the cans, no hoses.

Technically you do not need them as a stock 2.7.

I intend to upgrade ECU, turbos, etc. So until the hack is done, I wait....

This guy does a great job on a lot of automotive topics. It is literally a 15 minute install and unless you can't reach into your engine bay anyone can install it. Just save the existing OEM line and swap out in a few minutes if you ever have a warranty issue pop up. Can't harm anything and even with the 2.7 it will reduce deposits. Enough to make a difference?

Its whatever makes you feel good. We have had more troubles in our shop with the 3.5 F150s that had them installed than the ones without. Even had one the went haywire and pumped all the oil out of the engine. Replaced the engine and turbos reinstalled catch can. Thing still pumped the oil out rapidly. Unhooked the catch can problem is gone and customer has been driving truck 2 years with no issues. I will leave it off of my 2.3.

I installed J&L on mine, and on 5k mile oil change found about 2 tablespoons of oil in the catch can :-/

2022 SaS 2.7
Had one on my Bronco Sport 1.5L. Wintertime produced more fluid in the can.

Putting J&L on my 2.3L Bronco today.

I'm getting the 2.3, but it looks like the bracket that holds the catch can is the same for the 2.7, so have you noticed any problems with only having 1 small bolt holding the mounting bracket? Thanks!

Dose the oil catch can reduce pressure in the crankcase ? I am using my 2.7 mostly in desert. Specially on sand and always my engine will be on high RPM. Before two weeks I take the car to change oil at 9000 miles. They found a engine oil leak from rear seal between engine and trans. Dose this caused by high pressure in the crankcase as they mentioned ?? Dose the oil catch can solve the issue ??
