Plug and play catch can for the 2.7L listed as available. 2.3L version as well as CARB (California) legal versions in the works.
Came across it in a FB group. Use coupon code BRONCO6X for discount and free shipping.

In response to a question, they confirmed it can be removed in a minute or two if needed to comply with smog inspections. But note that the site says CA orders will be automatically refunded.

Thanks for the info. I am researching catch cans as I wait. I am looking forward to more information on how easy and messy (or not) it is to empty.

Looks like we do not need it.
Plenty of people still want a catch can, despite the port and direct injection, especially with the turbos.

Catch cans are always a good option for turbo charged vehicles. I do Super Charger installs on Mustangs and F150 and 9/10 times the customer ops for the catch can. It’s a nice little added insurance and definitely helps with prolonging engine wear and tear.

Why? For extra protection?

The length of the hoses on this setup are insane! Looks like they could put a catch can a few other places and gotten rid of most of that excessive hose length.

Where does the EGR actually introduce the crankcase gases back into the airflow? Before or after the turbos or intercooler?

Thought the same thing, there is a lot more room over by the coolant res, or air box than there is all the way across the engine.
