Good News: Ordered my OBX 4dr 3/2021, Just got a build date 4/4/2022 and VIN.
Bad News: Dealer converted my 2021 order to 2022 and left off the advance track 4x4, which is a must have for me.
Dealer is in CYA mode and says it's my fault, and I'm lucky I'm even getting one.
Is there any way to correct this before actual production or am I stuck with it?

I do believe that you are stuck but stranger things have happened.

Consensus is a change like that is not possible once VIN issued. Even if they could, you get hit with the 2022.5MY price increase if you changed it. If it is a deal breaker, then your deal is broken

Generally speaking you can't as the vin number details out certain things about the vehicle. Also what do you mean by "advanced track 4x4" in this case? Not heard anyone use that term with the bronco.

I assume he just means the advanced transfer case with the 4auto function

Accurate, VIN is the lock point. You can ping ford but they will say that the poral and build sheet reflect your choices and you should have reviewed.

Changes would be declining delivery and starting over, sorry.

No. If heard of some dealers who were able to pull some strings and get minor things changed, but the transfer case is a big one. The Bronco VIN itself reflects whether or not it has the advanced transfer case, and the VIN can never be altered once created.

4A is quietly a big constraint. Huge take rate. You probably would not have gotten a date with it.

Same as what previous have said .. standard 4x4 shows on VIN as 5B... advanced is 5D.

No change on that once VIN issued.
