If you want an extended warranty, get it from Granger for $50 over cost.
Thanks. It’s been so long that I forgot who was offering that good warranty deal.

Now to decide if it’s worth it at all.

You should . Update us with what they say
See my question and their response below. I recommend you get all your numbers right before paying, apparently you are SOL if you don't.

My question:
"I noticed that my window sticker was issued on 3/17, two days after the 3/15 price increase.
I saw that some of my options increased in price compared to the original order and after some research I understand I qualify for the additional 2023MY retail price protection due to option/package increases.
I understand I qualify for the HD Mod Bumper $150 and the Sasquatch Pkg $750.

Could you please let me know which steps to take next or should I call Ford customer service directly?"

Their response:
"We sold you your Bronco for $1500 below MSRP which is what we had agreed upon less your transitional offer of $2845.00

If there had been any other rebates available in Smart Vincent, we would have passed those along at the time of the sale.

Thanks for checking in and I hope that you are having a blast in your new Bronco!"

Did they base your price on the Fall '22 DORA or the window sticker?
If it's based on the DORA, price protection doesn't apply. If it's based on the window sticker, you should have received the credit.

Based on the price of the window sticker, this was the invoice, I didn't trade any vehicles. The price on the 9/24 DORA is about $3k lower. The discount and rebate on the invoice is the 3% inder MSRP and the $2,850 price protection.

What's your sticker price? $48,340?
I figure you should get the following discounts:
$2845 Transitional offer (Column B) for your order after 3/19/21
Price Protection of $2000 (Column C) 2/10/23 increase
Price Protection of $1400 (Column D and DD) 3/15/23 increase

Ford Bronco Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider 1686796121940

That puts your MSRP at $42095.
Invoice price on your DORA is $1028.20 less (will have changed a bit on your 2023 sticker)
=$41066.80
Subtract 3% (or is it 4% for you?)
= $39834.80
Then add Doc fees, Tags, and sales tax.... I don't know what you paid for those. And subtract the $100 reservation fee.
Is that your $45331.45 total? It seems high.

My build is similar, MSRP on 2022 DORA is $44555. I get $3645 Private offer, about $635 less options than you, results in $38613.83 after $989.02 Invoice reduction and -3% offer, but before tax, Doc and tags. I figure about $41500 out the door. My 3/14/23 sticker shows $46305.
I figure yours would be under $43000 due to more options (+635) and less Private Offer (+795).

Math should be an exact science. But it all needs to be spelled out, details can't be omitted!

I'm hoping my BaseSquatch gets delivered in the next week or so.... it's been sitting in the rail car at Wilmington for 9 days now, waiting to be unloaded.

What are the chances of it getting delayed at every stage possible?
Getting a build slot… delayed 2 years
Shipping out once built…delayed 2 months
Unloading at train destination… delayed 2 weeks?

Don’t get too excited. Just because it arrives doesn’t mean your ordeal is over. Mine arrived last week, and I’m still waiting on the sales team to give me my pricing so we can finalize and set an appointment to take delivery. (Even though it should all be super simple; no trade, and I already arranged finishing personally through my credit Union)

Correct, window sticker is at $48,340. I paid $44,478 including the doc fee but I registered it myself in NC. Looks like I overpaid by $4k for not knowing all the discounts available at the time and it seems Chapman is not willing to correct this. Let us know if you pay your calculated number. Good luck on finally getting your Bronco!

I'd suggest asking someone else at Chapman, go higher up. Your numbers don't add up, your sales guy forgot something. If it was Price Protection, they may reconcile with you after they get their monthly invoice..... some dealers were applying it at time of sale, some after.

I will do that. The more evidence I can gather that others were treated correctly will help my outcome.

Unrelated to this actual issue but this speaks to the level of ineptitude going on at Ford. When I called customer service last week for an update the csr was very nice as usual and even gave me an online gift card for $100 to get some Ford merch because of my long wait. Super, went over to the site picked out some pint glasses, cap, etc. Went to check out and applied the gift card.....invalid gift card number. I tried all ways, spaces, no spaces. Nothing. I called back and of course they were insisting I was inputting the number incorrectly. No. I really don't even care about the swag but I didn't do anything wrong. Oh well.

HaHa.... I had problems too!
Rep said she'd send me a gift card for $50. Great!
The e-mail I got said 'Please enjoy this $100 gift card'. But the pic showed $50. hmmm....
Added $100 of items to my cart, added the card, got $50 off. Well ok then, $50 it will be.
Removed some items and tried again...... invalid card number. The rep said don't use spaces.... still didn't work.
I had to escalate to the website guy to reload my card. He did say to wait 30 minutes after making changes to the cart to allow the gift card to reset.
You can try again, maybe it reset by now.
Oh yeah, I signed up for the '15% off your first order' promo but that didn't work either....

I did end up with a nice Bronco denim jacket and can cooler for an extra $31 over the $50 gift card.

Haha, more they have no idea what they are doing evidence. This email just came in now, 7 weeks after my build was done.
