I have a 2004 Xterra 5sp. It has a little over 192k miles on the original clutch and I did heavy off roading with it.
The 1st gen was an entirely different transmission. No idea on the longevity on that one. I know plenty of people with 2nd gens who had it fail at right around 60k.

2nd gen seems to be a step backwards in a few areas. And then there's the whole SMOD ordeal.

Here is what your stock clutch looks like, they are not rated for much over stock I can guarantee that, they are a dual mass flywheel and self adjusting clutch systems made by luk clutch in Germany.
