If you have a military affiliation Navy Federal is still the best:

869 score and 5.35% for 36 months at America's First CU. Luckily I've been putting back for the 1020 days I waited so didn't have to borrow much at all. Got 1.9% on the 2020 Ranger I purchased in '21 thru the same CU. Sucks to get a loan now if you have to finance a lot. Plan to pay the Bronco off by this time next year.

The dealership said that they are at 9% for 72 months for the best credit possible, highly recommend a credit union of some kind. I locked mine in with NFCU for 90 days when I got the scheduled production email. Based off how things are going, I might need more than 90 days. Hahaha.

85-96 mos. APR 7.84% ?????

I can't believe people take out or banks give car loans for 8 years!! A lot of the junk made today doesn't even last that long.

At the moment (last day of the month), specifically for new Ford Broncos, credit unions look like the best bet options followed by Ally Financial's final rates of June 2023 sitting at:

6.95% buy rate for 36, 48, and 60 mo. and 7% buy rate for 72 months

For A-tier credit

Everything could change next week. Broncos are starting to sit on dealer lots too.

That's crazy interest number unfortunately. Just 1 year ago exactly today I took delivery of my bronco and got 1.99% interest rate @ 790 credit score with my credit union.

I sold cars in the 1990s when the best rate was 9% for 48 to 60 months. It wasn't until the aftermath of September 11th that brought subvened interest rates to car buyers. 2.9% was how it started, and then competition took it all the way to 0%. It has been this way for 20 years, so many of us forgot what it used to be like.

I'm no economist, but it seems like we've been lucky for two decades and maybe at future decades' expense.

Inflation is less about current rates and mostly about the gubmint printing an INSANE amount of money to get us through covid. Every single one of those pre-covid bucks is now worth way less because the money pool was diluted much further and much faster than it had been in modern US history.
The bill is due now... be thankful most people are working their asses off right now, that usually doesn't happen when interest/inflation is climbing like this.
