The bill is due now... be thankful most people are working their asses off right now, that usually doesn't happen when interest/inflation is climbing like this.
Well - Almost 2/3 are working :) Might reach pre-covid levels soon.

If you have a military affiliation Navy Federal is still the best:

I agree. I applied to them first and ended up keeping the 5.0% rate I received for a 72mo loans. Super low payment after the down payment so I can pay more to the principle as I go along. Didn’t even end up applying anywhere else.

And if you are/were Sr enlisted E7 or above you get 1% those rates
I have never heard that before and I'm a retired Chief and been a member for over 30 years. Where you pulling that information?

I have used several times including last year for my lightning. not widely advertised see link

Thanks, I'll call them in the morning and ask about it, build week is July 17 so I'm a bit early but that would help save some. My last loan with them has been a few years so this must be new but have been with them and USAA for insurance forever and never gotten a Senior Enlisted discount. Appreciate it!

Active duty only, no love for us Retired Veterans ;)

"Exclusively for Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves E-7 Through E-9", but you can keep the lower rate if you get a commission/retire prior to loan payoff.

I finally got around to calling NFCU and they said that I do qualify for the Senior Enlisted program even though I'm retired. The person I talked with said to make sure when you apply to mention the program but supposedly it was in my record that I qualified! So if that's the case take the below rates as of today and subtract 1%. Thanks again @Jer wouldn't have known about it otherwise!

Well fuck, I was an E-6 who got commissioned. Nice pay raise at the time, no idea that 40 years later it would cost me 1 percent on a car loan.
