Hi everyone. I am thinking that my daytime running lights are not working properly. Every time I get out of my car to check them (when it is running) the daytime running lights are not on. I have confirmed that I have them turned on in the settings. I have the headlights set to automatically turn on, which they seem to do (although they seem to flicker on and off not knowing what to do when it is dusk). Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

You need to be in gear for them to come on. Park in front of a wall or glass building and you can watch them come on/go off.

I haven't tried natural. Are you automatic or manual transmission? I'm not sure how it works on a manual.

I don't see why you would need to be out of park for the running lights to be on. How can you have your lights on automatic and running lights at the same time. Isn't there a physical turn dial switch? you have to choose one or the other, not both.

I have a manual transmission. Perhaps they are going off when the e-brake is on (which I obviously have on when I get out of the truck).

We aren't talking about parking/running lights. Instead Daytime Running Lights. On Broncos with signature lights they are the halos and bar, brighter. On base lights it's the low beam. No other exterior lights are on during this function.

Yes, the e-brake will kill them so that makes sense.
