Dealer allocation causing dealer markup ($5000)

These were stated as 'Initial' allocations, and will change according to conversions.

Soooo, you're changing your dealer correct? OK,ok ok. You are "near" me. There is a group that is doing a buy out of Brewster Ford in Brewster, NY. It is 3 hours from you. I would seriously check with them. Somewhere around invoice if I recall. MSRP + $5 grand! They can go suck eggs.

I would. UNLESS $$$ is not an issue for you OR if they will match a written offer. However, would you trust them if they required that written offer in order to match? I certainly wouldn't.

That’s up to you...but you’re crazy not to. I hope that dealer loses all of their allocation because of cancellations...since few dealers are charging an ADM, it’s very easy to just switch to a dealer with a better deal.

So, of course I move to another dealer, maybe Brewster, but the dealer contacts and finds enough people down the list willing to pay to move up. They keep there allocation and get top dollar from them.
