Oh she dirty... dirt mountainy fo sho....

Took home my Bronco on Tuesday and just noticed some evidence of it's stay on Dirt Mountain.

Took the hard top off and def a film left on the seals from sitting. Also looks like some water may have leaked in from the original top down the door/pillar. Going to do an in depth cleaning this week and will be on the lookout for more "evidence".

Yeah I think it is def related to the top. Most likely it was the original top, sitting on the mountain getting dirty, 3 months of weather and the defective MIC 1.0.

Call 800-235-2352, then choose option 1. It's an automated system. Make sure you don't have any background noise, as the system is super sensitive. It'll ask you for the rail car letters first (TTGX in my case), then the numbers (992945 is my case). Hang up if it tries to connect you with a live person.

Your dealer can see it on their Vehicle Visibility page. For whatever reason, not all dealers like to give this info.

And lucky me, my dealer falls into that category. I just messaged the sales manager and his answer when I asked was “Sorry that’s not available to us.” Not sure why it’s such a secret. He’s taken good care of me with a loaner so I’m not going to hold it against him. Just would be nice to have a ballpark idea as to when it will arrive. I’ll just count my blessings that it’s on its way and leave it at that.

EDIT: He did just send me a screen shot of the VVS page and there’s no numbers listed like you mentioned. Major props for him trying though. It does say “Primary status-in transit” and “secondary status- passing (CSX transportation)” but also says “vehicle location- Wayne, MI.” So maybe it hasn’t been loaded yet and that’s why there’s no rail car info.

Now when I enter in my order number and VIN on the ford tracker, it resets to the order and VIN for the Maverick. Now they're just screwing with me, as though dirt mountain isn't enough...

Congrats! That does not look like it’s supposed to be like that. Just take the top off and re align it and put it back on.
