Bronco is my weekend toy, so it's on 8,572mi right now. I think i'm running at $1 of upgrades for every mile driven..... Not sure if that's a good metric to be measuring....

Its been a while since we all suffered together through the long excruciating wait for our '21 (or '22) Broncos. I finally took delivery of my day 1 order OBX in 12/21. I leased it, fearing that the first model year might be plagued with problems...It was, but fortunately most of those problems occurred prior to delivery. After nearly 3 years of nearly problem-free possession I am considering upgrading my 21 Area 51 OBX to a 24 Shadow Black Wildtrak.

Am I crazy?

There was no doubt that I wanted Area 51 when we ordered these things in 2020, and I still love the color today. That said, I have loved every shadow black bronco I've seen since then, and it would be my color choice today.

Now, after keeping my '21 largely stock, II have caught the upgrade bug...

Do I upgrade my 21 OBX or do I start fresh with a 24 Wildtrak?

I want to both crawl (like the badlands) and go fast off road (like the Wildtrak).

Upgrade your 21 OBX. I say that with having 100k on the odometer. The prices on new Broncos are ridiculous and you will be dollars ahead upgrading what you have vs getting something that is largely no different from what you already have.
