2022 Badlands with 27K. I was vacuuming out the floorboard today and I pulled up the rear seat floor mats and noticed that there is extensive discoloration of the flooring. It now has a white ring around the edge (both driver's and passenger's side). The white discoloration extends to under the front seats.
Has anyone noticed this before? To my knowledge no liquid was spilled on the floorboard and it has not been wet or rained on.

Thatā€™s weird. I have a ā€˜21 BD with about the same mileage as you and my floors donā€™t have any issues like that.

Yes, and I bought some of the stuff recommended in the TSB and it works very well. 22 Badlands but not sure I ever had the chalky stuff.

I feel like a broken record saying this because I'm always recommending this product but here it is again... :)

Everyone needs to apply Aerospace 303 to literally everything plastic and rubber on their Bronco including the vinyl seats. Thank me later!

I did try cleaning the white chalky areas with Aerospace 303 Cleaner but it did not work.
I have applied 303 to all the interior but didnā€™t apply it to the flooring.

gotcha. I mostly meant it as a precaution to possibly stop something like this from happening in the first place. It helps with plastics not drying out but I donā€™t know if your issue is that.

did anything abrasive sit back there? Do you car try passengers a lot who might have dusty or sandy shoes? I wonder if itā€™s an issue with abrasives wearing it down.

Do you scrub it with anything when cleaning it? Do you use anything other than 303 that might damage plastics?
