Have not verified myself, but, Ford said originally that their bash plate works with the Modular only. However, since then, the Capable bumper is now standard on the Badlands and Black Diamond, and they both have bash plates.
Exactly. I want a bash plate with my plastic bumper, and you'd think Ford's would fit. I do know the 4WP one fits regardless of bumper, I asked 4WP.

could be the coolest bumper i have seen yet. I love the simple, spartan design. it works real well with the rest of the vehicle. i don't need a winch, but if there were a version which was similar to that with holes to wire some fog lights, and an equally minimalist bumper, i'd be all over it.

Good stuff! Wish i had skills to fabricate my own stuff.
Skills equal time and effort. With a $100 welder you could zip something together like this. It would be trash or yard art the first couple attempts but then you would figure it out.

First day in high school I was walking around looking for woodshop class,I ended walking into mechanical shop by accident.
Teacher says what are you looking for i said wood shop,he goes those wood weenies suck sit down! Ok I sit and later he comes over and said I could go to wood if I wanted ,whats the difference I say ? If you build something of wood your mom is going to throw it out bach and it will rot and die, make it from steel it will last for years !
Best move i ever did👍I will be making mine too out of round tubing great job enjoy you awesome bumper.

Good job OP! Now when you talk about your "build", you actually built it. (y)
I hope to see a lot more homemade fabs.

Looks nice. I wish someone would make a winch mount for the MOD bumper. Nothing really modular about it at this time.

Thanks all. This bumper meets my needs, I tend to focus on function so I'm sure the form isn't to everyone's tastes. Hell there are bumpers that think look better than mine, but I enjoy the process and the retail bumpers are expensive and most block the intercooler. My JK was a hobby in the garage as much as on the trail. The Bronco will be the same.

I like that you incorporated a plate mount as well. Trying to find a solution with Front Camera, Parking sensors, a License Plate Mount and ACC with a winch under $5 grand. The tech is nice to have, but it really limits your options.

@JKommuter You've come up with a simple elegant solution. Good Job!

I have a spare set of OEM front skid plates, anyone interested in them to go with their custom bumper just PM me. They will not work with the standard bumper, only the modular bumper. Mounts.

I built myself a winch bumper. I wanted one that didn't block the intercooler and doesn't stick out too far. I have a 2 door base so not worried about cameras. I intended for it to be as light as possible. Not sure I accomplished that at 95lbs. I used 2x4 rectangular tubing, 3/8" plate, a Harbor Freight winch plate, and a Barnes Off-road bull bar. Painted with Rustoleum self etching primer, and "truck bed coating". Total materials cost was $350 not counting consumables (welding wire, gas,i Grinding disks, etc...). OK on to the pictures.
