Do you call your Bronco a car or truck?

Around family I say "the Bronco", but in public I say "the car" because I don't want to sound pretentious. Got called a Jeep today by a stranger and didn't correct them because it seemed a bit obnoxious

I had an '05 explorer for years and would feel weird calling it a truck. My definition of truck centered around a pickup truck with a bed.

Now that I have a bronco I find myself experiencing the same thing although I do feel a little better calling it a truck.

I mostly just say bronco, i.e. "let's take my bronco" instead of "let's take my car/truck"

I call it "DUSTY". But the factory calls Broncos trucks so IMO....it is a truck!

The State of Michigan calls it a station wagon...

I say "Bronco" or "vehicle".

"Vehicle" sounds weird sometimes but "Bronco" would sound even more weird in that same context.

"Car" would be insulting, and "truck" would be inaccurate.

State Farm calls it a sport wagon - same as all SUVs. I can't think of it as a wagon, though. To me that's a 70s wagon with plastic wood on the sides. It's just the Bronco.

I have had people tell me they like my Jeep. One lady in a red Jeep stopped and said she liked her Jeep until she saw my red Bronco.

Truck. It’s a habit from my years owning an FJ40. I guess because it had solid axels and leaf springs, “truck” fit the Toyota but not so much the bronco now that I think about it some more.

Yeah I don't get offended when people I don't even know refer to it as a jeep. It kinda looks like a Jeep if you don't really pay attention to off road vehicles. When I'm on the highway and I see a jeep far ahead, it often turns out being a bronco. And vice versa.

Ya could say, let's take the convertible. Because it actually is. Or take the doors off and call it a jeep. "ITs a jeep thing." Or its 4dr and just call it a wagon.

The Bronco, like all SUVs, is a station wagon.

Might as well call it a Jeep though. Good luck finding any Bronco trails on the map.

The one thing you can't call it is a Bronco because people will ask, "Which one? The big one or the sport one?"

Call it what you will but it is most certainly not a "car". I doubt this conversation happens on Jeep forums.
