I have to constantly remind people that it is a Ford, you don't need to slam the door.

MIne sounds tinny when closing. My wife commented last night when shutting the door that it sounds cheap.

Ditto, LOL! šŸ˜‚ Her brother finally got the hang of it, but our daughter does the same thingā€¦ SLAM!
I got a box and sub installed on the tailgate door last week. My husband said the name of the sub is appropriate, BLAM! šŸ¤£

Just saw Crutchfield has a solution from Soundskins for the Bronco. Might just go with that option.
I used SoundSkins in my F-150. They only cover the inner panel of the door and the pre-cut holes still require a good bit of cutting because they're only stamped and none were separated in the panels I used. I wasn't overly impressed. The outer portion of the door needs the sound deadening with an MLV product as previously mentioned.

Iā€™m curious, too. Whatā€™s different?
Apparently they flipped the switch so you pull down from the top instead of from the bottom.

Found this picture on Bronco Nation.

No it doesn't, and no its not.

OP, put some sound deadener like Kilmat in the door cavity, and it will help the hollow cheap feeling. Not the window rattles though.

That is interesting, where did they move it on the '23?
They didn't move it, just changed how it operated. 2021 you pull up; 2023 you pull down. At least on BL and WT. Just don't know why change it...

I guess it would have been impossible to just put a foot pedal on the left side like every other truck they make...

Probably because the action to turn on the e-brake is the same as the hood release and they're really close to each other.

There is zero sound deadening or sound dampening inside the doors, or anywhere within the interior of the Bronco. This makes sense because you want the doors as light as possible. I applied sound deadening material on the inside of the outer door skin, inner door skin and some on the door card with sound absorbing fiber mat. It does help, but its certainly not an S class Mercedes. If I had to go it again, I wouldn't. While it is quieter, it just moved the noise you hear from the doors to the roof. Before I didn't really hear air making its way past the soft top seals but now that is ALL I hear.
