Out of curiosity, what are the interior differences between a '21 and a '22? I'd assume nothing changes, but since you said obviously, now I'm really curious.
As far as I know, just the temperature knobs. The 21s show the temp and have an aluminum bezel on the knobs. Yours don’t have the same bezel.

Looks like there are little screens in there. Just not on.
Correct, the desired temp shows inside the knobs. Did they get rid of that for '22? I use that temp info more than the on screen temp info.

2021 Driver and Passenger Temperature knobs have a display with the the degree readout on the actual knob. For 2022, due to the chip shortage, the knobs just display a thermometer and the temperature readout is up on the touch screen.

Mine shows the temp in the bezels, but they are rubberized knobs with an aluminum frame behind the knobs. I took delivery in Oct of 21, so maybe they ran out of aluminum bezels by the time mine was built?

Mine is the same type of knob/bezel. 2021 OBX, LUX, Built 9/2/21. I think the photo going around with the more aluminum bezel may just be a preproduction model.

Looks like a press photo and has an illuminated PRNDM - which also isn't a thing:

That does add a nice touch of elegance, doesn't it?
Doesn't fit in a Bronco, though.

This is an early 21 Badlands Lux so that metal bezel is likely only in the press photos.

Well, I feel a tiny bit better now. I only got robbed of the temp display, not the fancy bezel.

The side mirrors heater is tied to the rear defrost, they activate on the same button only the soft tops actually display the heated mirrors logo on the button, the hard tops show rear defrost.

21-23 have electric heated mirrors. 24 and up will have manual heated mirrors due to Ford limiting luxury items. To operate the manual heated mirrors, you roll the window down, put your mouth to the mirror, and then go "haaaaaaawww" ;)

I checked my 2023 Bronco with lux package, it does not have any control button/switch for heated mirrors. I too was wondering whether the 2023 models come with heated mirrors or not.

If you have the hard top they're likely ingetrated into the rear window defrost button. My 2018 Raptor is the same way.

Thanks. Mine is a hardtop. And I do see the rear defrost button. Appreciate the response.

ok, stupid question, but I have completely ignored that auto button in the middle. Is that for an auto fan speed?

it keeps the cabin at the temp you have set on the dials. it also sends the air out all the vents instead of just the front, or floor etc. (Climate control)
So during the use, you will hear the fan speed change, and even sometimes the AC will turn on if it gets to hot for you set temp. the 3 levels are fan speed auto settings.

i use the lowest auto setting all the time over setting where vents to use.
