I was looking for something that would hold up to abuse and look good. I had some clear protectors before, I think they were strips of PPF from the dealership, and eventually they showed scratches and looked like my paint was beat to hell. I thought those “sticker” ones would eventually tear through too, so I ended up getting a set of TPE protectors that closely resemble the design of the door plastic that’s right next to it. They are super thick and I’m sure will last forever. If the stickiness goes away, then I just apply some 3M tape to it and I’m all set. I paid $34 for 4 doors.

Here you can see the thickness:

Here you can see the closeness to the OEM Design:

Overall, I’m very happy with them.

I'm finding that my dogs are tearing up the paint jumping in and out of the bronco. Anyone have a high quality door sill option that isn't going to break the bank but isn't junk either?

I'd love to see what people have done.
I went with IAG. They give full sill protection, use 3m tape, adhere well, are conformed to the sill lines and the pattern matches the OEM pattern. Originally bought look a likes off Amazon and they weren’t as good. Love the IAG ones.

This was one of my first simple updates. You can see what I ended up going with (link below also). I think they look great (dosnt matter since thats personal opinion). But more importantly they are cheap, easy to install, and actually have thickness to them. I was surprised when I got them. Your shoes/dogs are not going to get through these unless they have knives on their shoes/feet. I might go full xpel 10ml if these ever come off. But after 2 month + of these being on and going in and out of the bronco...and I dont have my rock crawlers/steps on yet (pending delivery) so everyone is stepping right on door sill to get in...they are showing no signs of wear/coming off.

Cheers.

Fast Intentions have held up great for over a year. But dogs will always find the paint, so you may be best off with the molded plastic ones like IAG…

I have the same ones. I believe they've been on about 4-5 months and holding up great to dog and passengers

I used points from Ford for the ones on the accessories page.... They are tiny, I would not recommend them. They look nice, but no way worth the price (if i had paid cash)
