Eco isn't super useful unless you're doing a lot of stop and go. I never notice a difference in MPG when I use it because I rarely see more than 1 or 2 stoplights when I drive.

As to the I'm gonna use Sport Mode because I'm gonna rebel against climate change attitude: Sure, if you wanna throw money away just because you can, that's your choice. I suppose you leave every light in your house on at all times too... It may only be small savings here and there but I personally would rather waste my money on cool shit, like bumpers and lifts than throw it away a tiny bit at a time because I don't like the science.

I mean even IF I was that petty, it takes WAY more effort than I'm willing to give switching the knob over to Sport every time, even when it's one small twist vs two.

Removing Eco is something I'm considering, although I don't mind it if I can have all the modes (I think Black Diamonds are missing the Baja mode).

Actually, if I have to remove one to add Baja, maybe Normal mode if you can (after all, just pick one, eco or sport for driving!).

Forscan very newest release has an easy entry mode in the ABS module this is great news! It allows you to remove the Eco Mode completely without seemingly disrupting the others. Tow Haul mode is another story though it don't work for me without disrupting the rest.
Why was this ever an issue? Just don't select it

What is this sport mode that you speak of? I use eco all the time especially when I let my underage kids drive around the neighborhood.

I haven't tried any of the modes yet, asumming my Bronco is in Normal. I'm shifting how/when I want regardless with the 7M, so does something like Sport mode make much of a difference with manual trans?
Yes! I find the Sport mode is much zippier with the MT..

It's the mode left off the First Edition Bronco for no apparent reason.

Not really an issue, but if you don’t like it and never use it, what’s the point of it even being there?

I put it in eco for a 10 hour round trip early on to see if I saved some gas. I got .4 better than normal mode. I put it in sport for the first time not too long ago and that was fun. Really tightens her up. Mostly keep it in normal though. I have a 60 mile round trip daily commute.

🤣 that logic blows my mind! I've only used 3 goat modes and have zero idea what the other ones are on my Bronco. Why would I delete them? I guess I'm more concerned about other things 🤷🏼‍♂️

Can you change the default driving mode from Normal to something else with the new Forscan update?

Don't leave us hanging, where in the ABS module does this useful magic happen?
