My conclusion is that the joints they use DO NOT have the amount of angle available from the OEM ball joint....for those with lifts or good wheel travel these ARE NOT healthy for your rack when they bind from lack of angle available.

I was a bit concerned when I watched that video and he moved the steering all the way, seemed like it was at the end of where it could go. Granted, I don't really know how these move when traveling up and down and steering on a bumpy trail, but I wasn't quite convinced by just looking at the movement.

I think I'll just get the Broncbuster brackets or sleeves or what you want to call them until some stronger tie rods are available. I'll never do anything like buster does with extreme crawling (at least not in my Bronco, LOL), I just want some insurance in case I do something stupid when out and about. Not looking to send it up or down a waterfall.

My only issue with the Fabtech setup is the bolt is very long.

Ford Bronco Fabtech Tie Rod Replacement tie rod

and at full droop where the rod end is maxed out it will just bend the shit out of that bolt. it needs a top bracket that would make it double shear and preventing this from happening.

Once the bolt is bent, where are you then??? Might just as well leave the stockers on it, carry some EV317's with ya, and swap em if ya bend em. You can buy like 10 or 15 for the price of BB jewelry or Fabtech setup.
