You never d’uno in the high gear. You always dyno in 3rd or 4th gear. It’s where the usable power is.

7th gear you’d be at top speed of the car.

You dyno in the 1:1 gear to get the most accurate BHP calculation. That's 3rd or 4th gear in a large number of 5 and 6 speed cars.

Like mentioned above, dyno runs should be performed in whatever gear is closest to 1:1 ratio. In the 10 speed that is 7th.

Exactly. Doesn't sound like much, but it is. Either way, after doing some calculations it seems like the Braptor would hit the speed limiter in any gear over 5th, so I guess that's why they don't run it in a 1:1 gear. Could have got better results than 4th gear though

Let me look for the trans gear ratio

1st4.71:1
2nd2.99:1
3rd2.14:1
4th1.76:1
5th1.52:1
6th1.27:1
7th1:1
8th0.85:1
9th0.68:1
10th0.63:1
Reverse4.88:1

So in 5th with a ratio of 1.52, rear gear ratio of 4.71, an RPM of 6K, and a tire diameter of exactly 37", it would hit 92.3 MPH

You're missing the point. If you were to take the F150 Raptor and run it in 7th gear, you'd hit the speed limiter at 4300RPM, which is well below the redline and peak HP. You're not going to get a full idle-to-redline chassis dyno run in a 1:1 gear unless you can figure out a way to defeat the PCM speed limiter.
Same for the Bronco Raptor; you'll still only be at 4500RPM when redline and peak HP come at 5400RPM.
It can't be done. End of story.
This! And trying to run these tires significantly above their limits is *likely not the best idea*.

I do agree that I’d expect the numbers to be higher, but they’re not surprising based on the results we’re seeing from the mags.

They should run it again after it has some mileage on it and see if it changes much. Only 106 miles on the odometer, engine isn't even broken in yet... (Also I think he said it might have 87 in it too, probably do a bit better with 91 or higher?)
